Last Work Day

Monday was our last day of work, and it was time to wrap up some unfinished business and complete the obligatory photo-shoot.

We completed filling the corner supports on Site B, as well as the top circle of cement on Site C (to hold all the corners together). This involved more cement mixing, and lots of handing up buckets of concrete to higher levels, so although we tried to keep our 'Picture Day blue-shirts' clean, some of us were not very successful.

When these two tasks were done, we had team photos taken at a couple of sites.

After this, our bus driver took us through the tightest entrance-way yet, and we went to a local community hall where local dignitaries thanked us and presented us with certificates and handmade keepsakes. More coffee and 'special bread' followed. We left the Piazza slum area happy with the work we did, and all very tired.
